BMC Atrium Discovery and Dependency Mapping (ADDM) enables you to easily answer the “what do I have?” question by discovering and collecting details about your IT assets, including accurate hardware and software inventory information on servers, desktops, and network devices. It also helps you answer the next question, “how is it connected?” by identifying the interdependencies of those IT assets.
BMC Atrium Discovery and Dependency Mapping automatically discovers the components and relationships of business applications and then automatically builds a model in the BMC Atrium CMDB based on that information. It also continuously scans for changes in those components and relationships, updating the model accordingly.
